Signe Carlson, President

Originally from Ohio, Signe Carlson has been an active musician since childhood. She has been part of several national honor choirs and has toured nationally and internationally as a vocalist and French horn player. During her undergraduate studies, Signe worked in three different offices in the Sunderman Conservatory of Music, involving marketing, programming, and music librarian tasks. She now works as the Graduate Assistant for Drexel University's Department of Performing Arts, focusing mainly on marketing for twenty-six ensembles. Signe graduated from Gettysburg College in 2015 with her BA in German Studies and a music minor, and is currently pursuing her Masters in Arts Administration at Drexel University.

Felicia graduated from James Madison University in 2016. She has her BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in Photography and a minor in Art History. She loved not only taking photographs but learning about the history of museums and arts organizations. She was president of multiple organizations at JMU and that is how she discovered she wanted to be a leader in the art and culture industry. She is the graduate assistant at the Leonard Pearlstein Gallery. She is also a Museum Education Fellow at the National Museum of American Jewish History. She is volunteering with Monica Montgomery’s Museum of Impact as well. A lifelong museum visitor, Elizabeth found that working to make the museum experience exceptional was her passion after graduating from the University of North Texas with a BA in History and Political Science. Now a student in the Museum Leadership program, she is serving as the current graduate assistant for the Academy of Natural Sciences. Before continuing her education at Drexel, Elizabeth worked in the museum industry in visitor services, marketing, special events, and accounting. In her spare time, she enjoys watercolor painting and visiting as many museums as possible.

Sarah’s profound love of and involvement in the arts lead her to her career in arts administration. Her work experience in the field includes fundraising, box office, and management. She holds a BA in English with minors in dance and journalism from the University of Delaware and is a full-time student in Drexel’s Arts Administration program. Sarah is the editor of ArtsLine, the program’s quarterly newsletter, and the graduate assistant for the Arts Administration program for the 2016-2017 academic year. Additionally, Sarah is an avid knitter and is the sole proprietor of Creature Comforts Designs, a budding knitting pattern and retail enterprise, and dances in Ignite: A Company of Dancing Artists.
